Biography
Lana Tafanel graduated from the Barcelona Academy of Art in Classical Realism, establishing a strong technical foundation for her exploration of contemporary themes like perception, trust, and media's influence. She expanded her skills through lessons with international artists, embracing diverse styles and approaches.
Her experiences across Slavic, Arabic, and European cultures deeply inform her work, providing unique perspectives on the interaction between cultural identity and modern narratives. Each place she has lived continues to shape her creative outlook.
One of her works was selected for exhibition at the World Mobile Congress through a prestigious collaboration between the European Museum of Modern Art and Google.
Lana is driven by a passion for capturing human stories, while critically examining the evolving dynamics of truth and media in contemporary society.
In addition to her painting, L.Tafanel is an accomplished fine art photographer.
Based in Barcelona, she continues to develop her artistic vision, blending technical mastery with thought-provoking themes.
